At least one woman was hanged in Gharchak Prison in Varamin.
According to a report by the Human Rights and Democracy Activists, a woman identified as Giti Marami was hanged in Gharchak Prison on Wednesday morning in Varamin. Marami, 34, was married and had a daughter. به خواندن ادامه دهید
One of the prison guards beat Namegh Mahmoudi, a Kurdish political prisoner, as he was being transferred to the hospital.
Namegh Mahmoudi, 62, is locked up in Ward 12 of Rajai-Shahr Prison and suffers from severe eye problems. This Kurdish political prisoner was beaten and battered by a prison guard on the way to the hospital.
“On Sunday, May 26th, prison officials finally let Namegh Mahmoudi go the hospital after blocking his transfer for a long time,” a prisoner in Rajai-Shahr said. به خواندن ادامه دهید
The head of the statistics and ICT department of education ministry says “There are 141 thousand children between the ages 6 and 11
who are not attending schools in Iran.”
Yousef Nouri said “The intention of statistics is to extract the total number of the ones deprived of obligatory study rule in education ministry that supreme council of education ministry determine it.”

Two prisoners were hanged in Tehran’s Evin Prison early this morning Sunday May 19.
Kourosh Ahmadi and Mohammad Heydari were charged with espionage for giving sensitive information to the CIA and the Israeili intelligence service Mossad respectively and convicted of Moharebeh (war against the God).
Iran Human Rights (IHR) is investigating about the background of these prisoners.

The taxi drivers have stopped their cars from Nobovvat to Sirus streets of Sanadaj and gathered in front of the taxi management 
organization from 9 to 11 am yesterday.
According to a report by the committee to help form worker organizations, the taxi drivers refused to work also in some other areas of Sanandaj like Shahpour, Ferdowsi, Feyz Zabad etc.

Said Abedini the imprisoned priest, has been transferred form section 240 of Evin prison to
Tehran Modarres hospital and been back to the prison after getting outpatient treatment.
